    Area Information

    Local Attractions:
  • 2 kilometres from Musee du Louvre
  • 4 kilometres from Gare De Lyon

    Avenue Champs Elysees:
A 7 minute walk from the hotel. When strolling down this elegant, lively and world famous avenue, take a few minutes to sit back in one of the various coffee shops and watch a bit of every culture in the world expressing around you. Make yourself fashionable shopping in the many shops.

    Arc de Triomphe:
A 7 minute walk from the hotel. From the top of the Arch, you will enjoy a remarkable perspective of the twelve avenues which converge into a hub, as well as a nice view of Paris.

    Place de la Concorde:
A 20 minute walk from the hotel. The Obelisk at the center of this square was offered by the king of Egypt to Charles X and makes this square one of the most beautiful in Paris. The Arc de Triomphe and La Defense are on one side and the great Louvre is on the other.

    The Eiffel Tower:
A 30 minute walk from the hotel. Built in 1899 for the World Expo and made entirely of iron, it is 317 meters tall, giving you the best view of Paris. It has become the fairy tale signature of romantic Paris.

    Opera/The Grands Boulevards:
One of the biggest theatres in the world and famous for its magnificent architecture. In the surroundings you will find movie theatres and department stores such as, Printemps, Haussman, and Galeries Lafayette.

    Cathedral of Notre Dame:
It stands on the Ile de la Cite where the city grew up. This 13th century gothic cathedral was the theme of the famous Walt Disney® movie, "The Hunchback of Notre Dame."

The Quarter Latin/Saint Germain des Pres:
The artistís preferred block, well known for its traditional coffee shops such as, Les Deux Magors and CafÈ de Flore, the historical meeting places for writers. It is also a good place for shopping.

    The Marais:
The whole area makes a beautiful ensemble of extraordinary mansions and paved courtyards. On Sundays, it is a nice place to take your brunch or do some shopping and take advantage of the fashionable atmosphere which surrounds the Place des Vosges one of the most expensive places to live.

    Place de la Bastille:
Well known for the prison from which it takes its name. Site of one of the greatest monuments of history, the 1789 revolution. Nowadays, it is the young peopleís favorite place to meet. They can find a diversity of bars, discos, and restaurants, primarily located in the streets of La Roquette and rue de Lappe.

    Montparnasse:
The towerís outside terrace offers an unmatched viewpoint from which you see more than 50 Paris landmarks. By night, the Paris landscape is truly dream-like. A lively area with plenty of movie theatres and shops.

    Sacre Coeur and Montmartre:
Montmartre has retained the feeling of old Paris. A jumble of narrow streets, secret squares and alleyways make up the hill of Montmartre from where you will have the impression of being in a small village right in the middle of Paris. Like an enormous wedding cake, the Sacre Coeur Basilica is standing on the top of Montmartre hill overlooking the Place du Tertre.

Pigalle and The Moulin Rouge: This area is famous for its cosmopolitan atmosphere. The Moulin Rouge is one of the most famous places where the "cancan" is still performed. Only the windmill is still original from the old Moulin Rouge.

    La Villette:
Located in the northeast of Paris, it is a huge center for exhibitions, documentation, and communication. The place is very pleasant during springtime and summer to enjoy a day in the sunshine. Donít miss the latest attractions: the Geode, a cinema with a huge hemispheric screen that plunges you into the heart of sound and images; the Cinaxe, where simulation cabins follow the movement in the film so you can experience imaginary adventures in motion.

    Parc Monceau:
Created at the end of the 18th century, the park is surrounded by museums and luxurious private mansions which directly overlook the park. If you enjoy jogging, this is the right place.

    Jardin du Luxembourg:
One of the most romantic gardens of the capital, harmonizes with lines and perspectives. There are many sculptures adorning the garden since the reign of Louis Philippe.

    Disneyworld®:
The magical world of Euro Disney® includes more than 70 attractions and shows with its bars, restaurants, shops and Buffalo Billís Wild West Show (a dinner show).

    Movie Theatres:
They are mainly concentrated on the Champs Elysees (where most of the movies are given in the English version), around the Montparnasse Tower, and on the "Grands Boulevards" near the Opera, where you will find two of the greatest movie theatres of Paris: Le Grand Rex and Max Linder Panorama.

    Fashion:
The first association in the mind of the foreign traveler for Paris is fashion. Certain districts offer styles for different tastes and for all ages in charming disorder: Rive Droite-Les Halles, le Marais, place des Victoires, rue Etienne Marcel, rue des Francs Bourgeois, rue de Passy-Rive Gauche - Saint Germain-des-Pres, rue de Rennes, rue de Sevres, rue Saint Sulpice, rue Bonaparte.
