The Best Western Gipsy Hill Hotel was built towards the end of the last century by a wealthy tea importer with an eye for an incredible view, it was not until after the Second World War that the well-known house at the top of Gipsy Hill became a hotel. Set atop a small hill just to the eastern edge of the cathedral city of Exeter, the hotel has unrivalled panoramic views across Devon and the eastern coast.
