The Best Western University Lodge has a wonderful location, only one block from the U.C. Davis campus. Guest can park their car (free of charge) at the lodge and walk to the university and nearby attractions. Or if your prefer, you may use one of our courtesy bicycles as your transportation, where bicycling is always in style in the city of Davis, which averages more bicycles than citizens. Also within walking distance is quaint downtown Davis where you will find numerous restaurants, theaters and art galleries, and just a short distance from the hotel are the renowned Davis Farmers Market, Toomey Field and the campus football stadium.

    Local attractions, events and activities: Founded as the "University Farm" in 1908 amid fertile fields of the state's Central Valley, UC Davis has emerged as an acknowledged international leader in agricultural, biological, biotechnological and environmental sciences.
