- ·From: The airport. At the first crossroad turn left, follow signs showing the direction to the prehistoric town of Akrotiri village. At the second crossroad turn left. At the third crossroad at the side of the caldera go straight and then turn right to the uphill road, (at the Mexican restaurant), continue going straight, as you pass the road to the port on your right is the last crossroad to Akrotiri. Continue following the signs to the prehistoric town of Akrotiri and Akrotiri village, turn right. The Best Western Paradise Hotel is exactly at the center of the village. ·From: Athinios Port. At the top of the port turn right, there is a sign showing the way to Akrotiri village/excavations/Red Beach, continue going straight and you come across another sign showing the direction to Akrotiri prehistoric town/Akrotiri, at that crossroad turn right.
