The Best Western Widener Hotel and Suites is the newest, greenest and most friendly hotel in the Philadelphia area! We are located in the City of Chester-- the gateway to Delaware County, PA, the City of Philadelphia and the state of Delaware. Just six miles from Philadelphia International Airport and ten minutes from Harrah's Chester Casino and Racetrack, the hotel is part of the $50 million University Crossing development at Widener University, which also includes an apartment complex, a 24 hour Seven Eleven and a Chester Police substation. Follow ramp, keeping right, and merge onto I-95 South (signs will read I-95 South/Delaware). Stay on I-95 for 6.6 miles. Take exit 6 (PA-320/Providence Avenue/Edgemont Avenue/PA 352). Turn right at Chestnut St (follow signs for Central Business District). Chestnut St. becomes E 13th St. Turn right at Providence Avenue (RT. 320), then left on E 16th St., then left on Upland St., then left on E. 15th St to The Best Western Widener Hotel and Suites-Airport(South). ·From: Philadelphia/Points north Take I- 95 (South) via the Vine Street Expressway (Center City) or 30th Street (University City). Stay on I-95 for 15.4 miles. Take exit 6 (PA-320/Providence Avenue/Edgemont Avenue/PA 352). Turn right at Chestnut St (follow signs for Central Business District). Chestnut St. becomes E 13th St. Turn right at Providence Avenue (RT. 320), then left on E 16th St., then left on Upland St., then left on E. 15th St to The Best Western Widener Hotel & Suites-Airport(South). ·From: Delaware/Points south. Take I- 95 (North) toward Pennsylvania. After entering PA continue on I-95 North to Exit 6. Take exit 6 (PA-320/Providence Avenue/Edgemont Avenue/PA 352). From exit ramp merge onto E.12th Street. Turn left at the Avenue of the States, then turn right onto Providence Avenue. Turn left on E 16th St., then left on Upland St., then left on E. 15th St to The Best Western Widener Hotel & Suites-Airport(South). ·From: The PA Turnpike (east or west) Take Exit 331A (I-476/Philadelphia/US-202/Valley Forge) toward CHESTER. Stay on I-476 ("the Blue Route") for 15.5 miles to Exit 1 MacDade Boulevard. Take Exit 1/MacDade Blvd. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for MacDade Blvd W and merge onto MacDade Blvd. MacDade Blvd. becomes E.22nd Street. Continue on E. 22nd Street and turn left on Providence Avenue. Follow Providence Avenue to East 16th Street.
